I am 25 years old and am over weight and have been for most of my life. But it seems to me that as the years go by my obsession with food has gotten worse. But not because I love food. Far from it. I dont know why I eat so much. If I could go a week without eating it wouldn’t bother me. But I can’t. It’s almost like I start hallucinating and become very shaky if Im not eating. It’s not about junk food. It’s any type of food. I always say the only way i will lose weight is if they put me in an asylum. Where I don’t have contact with food. Some people have addictions with drugs and alcohol. I have the misfortune of being addicted to food. Does anyone know of any meetings in my area(brooklyn,ny) that they have for people who have problems with food? I really want to get help.
